What Is Propecia ?

Medical Scientists believe that MPHL (Male Pattern Hair Loss) is due to two reasons. First is inherited from the either sides of the family. How Should I Take Propecia ?

What Are Propecia Side Effects ?

Allergic reactions:

These side effects disappeared in men who stopped taking Propecia. In addition the side effects have been decreased after long period of use.

How Other Medicines Interact With Propecia ?

Propecia Interactions may happen with number of drugs. Let your Doctor know about your medical history, your medications, all over-the-counter medications and drugs prescribed by other doctors. Do not start a new medication without telling your doctor. 

What Happens If I Miss The Doss of Propecia or take Over Dose ?

If you missed the dose, skip it and wait for the next dose.

Do not take double dose.  Ask for emergency medical help if you think you have consumed more medication than prescribed.

However Propecia overdose is not life threatening. 

Precaution Before Taking Propecia:

Propecia Precautions: Before taking Propecia, tell your doctor if you have faced any sensitive reaction with this drug or this kind of other drugs.

As body absorb the medicine, pregnant women should not handle Propecia tablets. If women are exposed to broken or crushed tablets, wash the area with disinfectants right away and let your doctor know about it.

Also tell your doctor if you have: disease of liver, unusual liver enzyme tests, prostate cancer, a bladder muscle disorder, and stricture of your urethra or difficulty in urinating.

A woman or a child should never take Propecia. 

How To Store Propecia ?

Store Propecia in cool place away from moisture, heat, and light. Bottle should be tightly shut and place it where children cannot reach. Never keep outdated or expired medicine. Make sure children should not reach to the discarded medicine. 

Important Notes About Propecia:

Propecia is a long-term medicine. To see the positive result, Propecia should be taken at least for 3 months. If Propecia doesn’t work for a year, then further treatment will not be useful. You may lose the hair you gain during the treatment, if you stop using Propecia.
